In 2008/09 the Elmore Oil Company undertook a double blind, placebo controlled trial for their flagship product, Elmore Oil.

The trial was headed by Dr. Ruth S. Sy, head Rheumatologist at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Quezon City and co-ordinated by respected researcher, Dr. Leticia Lucero-Palma. In what could be a major breakthrough in medical science, all the patients in the trial have recorded reduced uric acid levels after being on Elmore Oil for as little as 4 weeks.

The trial was set up to study the effects of Elmore Oil against a placebo, on patients aged between 45 and 90 years of age, who have been clinically diagnosed with osteoarthritis. The patients all recorded their pain levels in a detailed diary but they have also been blood tested prior to the trial and weekly thereafter. Dr. Palma noticed a marked drop in uric acids levels in all patients, up to 50% in some cases, which has led to an excited optimism that the company may have stumbled on a potential cure for gout. While it is too early to make assumptions the company is prepared to fund more research into the potential cure.

Elmore Oil is a simple blend of Olive Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Tea Tree Oil and specially prepared extracts of Vanilla. The companies Managing Director, Mark Linford, says the secret behind Elmore Oil is its unique blending process.

“Elmore Oil is manufactured using a process known as Triple Maturation. It’s unique to Elmore Oil and it bonds the actives in the essentials oils to the circulatory components found in Vanilla so we have a product which enters the body quickly and gets to the source of the pain and inflammation quickly.”

This advantage has been the driving factor behind the products spiralling popularity with the elderly generation for arthritis pain relief, but it has also struck favour with the younger and mid age groups as a recovery product for exercise and sport. Now with the potential to be used as a preventative for gout the product could be set for multi national fame.

“We are hopeful that the next phase of the trial can isolate the components that are lowering the uric acid levels and allow us to pin point the science behind this amazing revelation.”

Gout currently affects 16 million people worldwide and is in itself a form of arthritis. It most frequently effects men ages between 40 and 60 years of age and in 75% of the cases the first attack occurs in the big toe. Gout occurs as a result of excess uric acid in the blood and tissues. If uric acid crystals enter the joint, they may trigger the development of inflammation.

Tea Tree Oil Benefits

is extracted from a plant native to Australia. The leaves were first used in brewed tea, although the Aboriginals of the area were the first to use the oil of the plant medicinally. For generations, Australian natives crushed the leaves of the plant to rub on wounds, infections and burns to use as a natural pain reliever. Still, it wasn’t until the 1920’s that the extracted oil was commonly used after a study was published demonstrating its antimicrobial benefits. Today, tea tree oil is popular in traditional medicine and has a number of proven healing benefits.

Tea tree Oil – anti-bacterial qualities, penetrates deep into the joint area to initiate pain relief

Antiseptic and Antibacterial Benefits

The oil from the Melaleauca alternifolia plant has wonderful antiseptic and antibacterial properties that make it an excellent natural pain reliever. It has been shown to soothe minor skin irritations including rashes, cuts, sunburn and even insect bites. Naturally occurring antiseptics have the ability to kill off germs that may cause infection as well. These healing benefits of tea tree oil come from a compound called a terpenoid, which is found in high numbers in the oil.

A Natural Antifungal and Anti Viral

Tea tree oil is used in traditional medicine to treat fungal infections as well. The antifungal properties of the essential oil have been well known at least since the 1930’s when it was found to be better than prescription medications. The oil can be applied undiluted or in a cream to fungal infections on the feet, face and scalp. One study found tea tree oil to be twice as effective as a placebo while another study found the oil is as effective in treating toenail fungal infections as a prescription-strength medicine.

Cleans and Repairs Wounds

Tea tree oil was first used to clean and repair wounds and still remains an effective treatment for many skin problems. Because it’s not greasy or volatile, the oil is a great way to soothe burns. It’s also used to treat mouth ulcers and skin boils, which can be very painful. Because of its antiseptic properties, small cuts can heal quickly without infection after a few applications of the oil. Tea tree oil can even be used to clear up diaper rash by applying a few drops of oil along with a carrier oil. Many people also use it to soothe sunburns and reduce blistering and peeling.

Heals Acne

It has been found that tea tree oil is effective at treating mild to moderate acne as well. A study in Australia compared the effectiveness of tea tree oil gel against benzoyl peroxide lotion. Both groups showed significant reduced in acne lesions, although benzoyl peroxide did work better. Still tea tree oil presents a way to treat acne for individuals with sensitive skin or those that wish to avoid chemical solutions. The oil is also safe and natural and does not cause side effects, unlike the medication which can cause stinging and dryness.

Because of its ability to treat a range of conditions, tea tree oil has been a staple in traditional medicine for years. Its effectiveness has been proven in multiple studies and it’s an excellent natural pain reliever. Originally used in Australia hundreds of years ago, the oil is still a good way to clear up acne, small skin wounds, and fungal infections in the hands and feet. This oil is sold today in pure extracted form or in a lotion or gel that can be applied directly to the skin.

Why We Use Olive Oil in Elmore Oil

Olive Oil has been used for thousands of years. The Egyptians were one of the first to discover the many healing properties of olive oil. Often used for personal skin care, it was also known to promote general good health. Today, this beneficial oil is used as a natural supplement to improve heart health, lower blood pressure, improve skin and ease the symptoms of some chronic diseases. Because there are so many benefits of olive oil, there’s no reason not to use it in a daily diet or as a supplement.

Heart Healthy Benefits

Olive Oil – the base of the product soothes and penetrates

It’s well known that countries like Greece and Italy that consume olive oil daily have lower rates of heart disease. Olive oil contains healthy fats that lower the risk of heart disease by reducing cholesterol. Olive oil has the ability to raise good cholesterol while lowering bad levels. These fats can also improve blood clotting abilities. This oil is a popular natural supplement because no other naturally occurring oil contains such high levels of these helpful fats.

Naturally Lower Blood Pressure

Many studies have been done on the benefits of olive oil. Research shows that the oil can naturally lower blood pressure in addition to controlling cholesterol levels. A diet high in olive oil has been shown to reduce blood pressure up to 50% in some patients. The study involved patients consuming 3 to 4 tablespoons each day. It’s possible to even reduce the use of prescription medicines by using the oil as a natural supplement.

Ease Symptoms of Diabetes and Ulcers

Research shows that one of the benefits of olive oil is its ability to naturally regulate blood sugar and insulin levels in the body. This helps individuals with type 2 diabetes control the symptoms of their disease. Because olive oil is well tolerated and mild, there are many healing properties of olive oil for both ulcers and gastritis. The oil can help the body produce bile and hormones which prevent ulcers and gallstones.

Skin Benefits of Olive Oil

One of the best benefits of olive oil is its ability to moisturize skin. This oil has been used for thousands of years to promote healthy skin. Olive oil contains an acid that prevents water from leaving the skin and can be applied directly or in a warm bath. Research also shows that olive oil has a high level of antioxidants which can get rid of damage from free radicals. This prevents premature aging and reduces the risk of skin cancer as well.

Olive oil has been used for thousands of years to promote health and beauty. Mediterranean countries have known the many benefits of this oil for generations. The healing properties of olive oil are also well documented. This natural oil can help control diabetes while reducing the risk of heart disease. Olive oil is known to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels with its high levels of good fat. Did You Know

Eucalyptus oil comes from the Eucalyptus tree, which grows naturally in Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia and parts of the Philippines. With more than 700 species of Eucalyptus, many types are cultivated all over the world. Eucalyptus oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the tree, and is used in numerous types of products for many different purposes. It has a mint-like quality that makes it popular for candy, throat drops, toothpaste, and some cough medicines, especially those for pain relief. In addition to that, it has insect-repellent properties that make it a great natural option for outdoor use.

Eucalyptus Oil Benefits

There are many, many different benefits of Eucalyptus oil. It works to help heal infections, including respiratory tract infections, staphylococcus, and streptococcus. It’s very helpful for asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis and whooping cough. It also helps settle upset stomachs, helps reduce and prevent acne, treats fungal infections, stimulates the appetite, and is great for the liver, gallbladder, and to stimulate blood flow. One of the most important Eucalyptus oil benefits is pain relief, especially for individuals who suffer from arthritis, osteoarthritis, and joint pain.

Cineole

Eucalyptus Oil – penetrates muscles and brings instant pain relief

One of the most important things found in Eucalyptus Oil is Cineole. This substance is antimicrobial, and works to kill (and guard against) bacteria like Candida, Staph, and Strep. Cineole may be what is responsible for helping Eucalyptus oil break up chest congestion and heal respiratory illnesses. The species Eucalyptus Polybractea (Blue Mallee Eucalyptus) is found only inAustralia, and boasts the highest content of Cineole of any Eucalyptus species. The Eucalyptus oil from this species is particularly good with pain relief as well as soothing the symptoms of joint pain and arthritis.

Combining Eucalyptus Oil with Other Oils

Eucalyptus oil is often mixed with other types of oil to combine the medicinal qualities. When this happens, substances in Eucalyptus oil react with those other oils to boost pain-relieving qualities as well as joint stiffness, other arthritis symptoms, cold symptoms, and infections. It’s most beneficial when mixed with Tea Tree oil, mint oils such as Spearmint or Peppermint and Vanilla. It’s sometimes mixed with lemon for cough and cold solutions and for skin application, it can be mixed with Olive oil or another “carrier” oil to deliver the Eucalyptus oil to the underlying tissue.

When it comes to pain relief, arthritis relief and cough and cold relief, Eucalyptus oil benefits are many. The best thing about it is that it can be used as a natural treatment for those who don’t want to rely on a prescription or harsh chemicals that may do more damage than good.

Elmore Oil is the only product in the world to be blended using Triple Maturation, providing a natural product that delivers the pain relief of a prescription product.

Part of the success of Elmore Oil is in the unique blending process, developed by the products creator, Ralph Linford. Using a philosophy of maturing the ingredients in a pre-determined mathematical sequence over an extended period of time, the process known as Triple Maturation binds the actives to the base oil and fully bonds the Vanilla, enabling it to act as a circulatory stimulus, allowing rapid pain delivery of the active ingredients into the pain affected area. Elmore Oil is the only product in the world to be blended using Triple Maturation, providing a natural product that delivers the pain relief of a prescription product.
